When Miles LeBaron started LeBaron & Jensen with Tyler Jensen in 2004, they began with the objective of providing competent, result-oriented “big firm” legal representation, but with a small firm personal touch and less overhead to pass on to the client. Miles spent the first ten (10) years of his career representing various financial institutions and other companies in Utah with their litigation needs, including obtaining hundreds of thousands of dollars in settlements from insurance companies who refused to compensate business owners who had their property damaged by fires or floods.
In 2010, Miles’ sister-in-law approached him with a personal injury matter because the insurance company of the person who rear ended her had lowballed her. Despite her need for carpal tunnel surgery and neck surgery as a result of the car accident, the insurance company had only offered her $30,000.00. Miles was able to get her $150,000.00, and that amount was the amount of the insurance limits available or Miles could have gotten her more. That experience helped Miles understand that there was a real need for attorneys to help individuals deal with their injuries, get the treatment they needed and get the insurance companies to fairly settle claims. Miles also realized how satisfying it was for him to help injured victims get the compensation they needed from insurance companies. Over the last ten (10) years Miles and the team at LeBaron & Jensen have fought for hundreds of individuals suffering from the effects of car accidents, slip and fall accidents, burns, dog bites, auto-pedestrian accidents, auto-bicycle accidents, traumatic brain injuries, motorcycle accidents, trucking accidents, and even an attack by a raging bull at a livestock auction. Miles loves helping his clients focus on getting better while he fights for their rights with the insurance companies.
Miles is married with five (5) children. He enjoys riding his motorcycle, snowmobiling, shooting sports, reading, playing video games, and hanging out with his family.
